In celebration of the news, Home Free has released an early song from the album – “Bonnie Ship the Diamond.”

With intricate harmonies and a mesmerizing vocal melody, the traditional tune was first used to mark the beauty of the 1820s Scottish whaling ship “The Diamond,” which sailed the Davis Strait off Greenland. The ship was later lost in those same icy waters, but the song lived on, popularized by Ewan MacColl and A.L. Lloyd in the late 1950s. Home Free has also released a music video for “Bonnie Ship the Diamond,” directed by Jimmy Bates and bringing the timeless tune to life.

Meanwhile, Home Free will leave port on another nautically-themed journey one day before the album’s release – their Into The Deep Tour with co-headliners The Longest Johns. Set to begin September 18 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the voyage will feature 13 shows through October 5, with the sea-shanty singing tour mates visiting states from Texas to Ohio and beyond.

Home Free will then follow up with The Jukebox Tour, giving fans the power to pick the night’s songs. Kicking off October 15 in Charlotte, North Carolina, over a dozen shows will feature a set list voted on by ticket-holding fans, giving each night of harmony, humor, and high-energy entertainment a “jukebox” spin.
