Hey Home Fries,
We've got some news today. It's big, and frankly bittersweet. You might want to sit down.
We'll start with the sweet: our upcoming album, Crazy(er) Life, is available to Patrons for pre-save and pre-order, and will be released on March 29. It will be available for pre-save and pre-order on all streaming and music platforms tonight at midnight.
And now for the bitter: Crazy(er) Life will be the final album that features Austin Brown. After 12 years of time with Home Free, he will be departing to his next creative chapter towards the end of this year.
Austin will be performing with us through shows in the fall, and we'll be announcing his final show soon.

Crazy(er) Life and these shows will be a fitting book-end to Austin's time with Home Free. The first song Austin ever recorded was "Wake Me Up", and it was the last song he recorded with Darren as we finished this album.
Chance, Tim, Rob, and Adam will all continue on with Home Free. We are actively recruiting and will be welcoming a new member later this year, to help us carry on the all-vocal country torch together. You can expect to hear more from us soon.

This is the end of an amazing chapter with Austin. We can't wait to celebrate him with this new music, and during the the next months as we continue to perform together.
More Crazy(er) Life Tour dates will be coming soon, and will continue out from the dates we've already announced through this fall. We'll be adding another 25 or so shows to the schedule between now and October. These shows will be in the United States -- including Northeast, Midwest, Rocky Mountains, Southwest, Southern California, and Pacific Northwest. Unfortunately, there will be no shows outside of the United States this year.
In all, we will still be doing fewer shows this year than last year, as we are being respectful to our families and our loved ones to whom we've committed to spend more time with in 2024.
Suffice to say, if you see an upcoming show ANY TIME this year -- even if it is not in your immediate town -- we hope you'll come see us perform and give Austin the celebration and love he deserves on the Crazy(er) Life Tour.

So… we have a problem. And we’re sure a lot of y’all have encountered it too.
There are, unfortunately, a lot of SCAMMERS lurking around the Home Free community. We’ve posted and tweeted about this in the past, but now feel the need to digitally staple this blog post to the top of our website to help prevent our fans from being scammed.
Please read through this… it’s very important.
SCAMMERS
These are people who will comment on our Instagram, Facebook, and other social posts asking to be friends, for money, or pretending to have a big opportunity for y’all. Some even impersonate our individual members, making fake pages or groups with photos that are pulled from our profiles and made to look a real page. To be abundantly clear on this: anything that is not DIRECTLY from our verified social handles is NOT US. For a reminder, here are our OFFICIAL social handles:

SPOTTING and REPORTING SCAMMERS
We can’t catch every scammer, because as soon as we report them, they make new accounts, and the big tech companies take a while to get around to our complaints. It’s like playing a digital game of whack-a-mole. And meanwhile, we’ve heard stories of fans who get fooled by scammers while we’re waiting on the platforms to get rid of a page. This is all to say that we need you to be smart about how you engage with us and our community on social media. The general rule of thumb is that if it feels fishy in the slightest, it probably is. If you spot a scammer, feel free to report them.

SHAMING SCAMMERS
We are so sick and tired of scammers that we are asking our most passionate fans to do something for us. And this is something we’d ordinarily NEVER do, but we feel no compassion for these people who have repeatedly taken advantage of our fans. If you’re a fan and you spot a scammer in comments, drag these a**holes through the mud, and publicly shame them on social media. If you see a scammer profile commenting on a Facebook post (common) or Instagram or TikTok (less common) then jump in and call them a scammer!
Reply and comment back that you KNOW they are scamming and that everyone on that post should be aware. Tell everyone in the comments to block that profile so that they don’t get it confused with our real profiles. We can’t be everywhere to police these comments, but we know our fans are. So we’re officially deputizing you all in our efforts to rid our community of these awful, awful scammers.
THE MOST WANTED: KNOWN SCAMMERS
Here is a list of some of our most wanted scammers. We have reported and blocked most of them, but many continue to pop up. They are created and deleted constantly, so if you ever see any of these fake pages, please block and report them and let us know so we can do the same.

Just a quick note on these: we can’t even try to pull the ones from Facebook because they are deleted and create new ones every few days. These are only instagram accounts, but if you are on Facebook and see someone respond to your comment, click their page and make SURE they are a real person and have enough real information to deduce that they are a real person before you engage with them.
The scammers continue to get more and more sophisticated, so always be on your toes, and please let us know if you see anything fishy so we can do our best to try to get those pages taken down. Thank you all for doing your part to make this a safe community ❤️

Euro Tour
HAPPY MONDAY, FRIES!
Been a minute since we’ve popped on here with some updates, so we just wanted to share something that we’re feeling really excited about at the moment. We’re headed back to Europe!
In 2020, we were having the time of our lives exploring all over Europe and singing for some amazing crowds when we heard about potentially looming border closures, and everything was thrown for a loop with COVID. It was scary and new, and we never knew it would spiral like it did. But in the meantime, we had to rush to get back to the States, which meant that we had to cancel the rest of the tour, leaving fans in the UK and Europe high and dry.
For the last few years, we’ve been reminiscing about our time there and thinking about how we could arrange a new tour and get back over to sing and dance with our Euro Fries. Well after some planning and finagling it’s official: We’re coming back! We can smell the bratwurst already 😋

We’re trying something new here so stick with us: we’re going to write!
Every week, we’ll be updating our website with something. Stories of our lives, our new music, what’s making us happy, what’s making us laugh, what’s making us cry. It’ll be a hodge podge to start until we find a groove. Blogging. How Y2K of us, we know.
This is the first one, so you’ll have to let us know how you like it! Here goes.
It’s Wednesday and we’re just coming off the road from 3 weeks of a leg of our Road Sweet Road Tour. It wrapped on Sunday night at the Mother Church of Country Music, The Ryman Auditorium. What a run. This is not blowing smoke – we had some of the best crowds we’ve ever had in Arizona, Utah, Colorado, and Arkansas than we’ve ever had before. Thanks for making it special for us.
There were a lot of highlights on this run, but we thought we’d share a couple with you:
- We happened to be rolling through Louisiana right as Mardi Gras was kicking off a few weeks ago, and as is tradition, they nabbed some King Cakes. For those of you who don’t know, there is a tradition during Mardi Gras surrounding these special types of cake. Each person is served a fresh slice, and looks to see if their piece of king cake contains a small baby toy. If so, then that person is declared “king for a day” and bound by historical Mardi Gras custom to host the next party. In this instance, each cake had a baby, and our “kings for the day” were our production manager and sound man Chris, Chance, and Tim.
- We shot ANOTHER music video. This time it was in the desert with our pal, Brooke Eden. Like the Ryman show, this video shoot had to be rescheduled from December until February due to some horrific weather. Luckily we were able to pull it off this time. We’re going to be releasing that song and video in April… any guesses what it might be?
- After we had to reschedule our Nashville show at the Ryman in December, we were able to make that up this weekend with a ROCKIN’ show and livestream. It was truly one of the best shows we’ve ever done. It was basically a sold out crowd, with more than 2,200 people in the room, and another 1,200 people tuning in via Mandolin. Thank you all for coming out or watching online. We were lucky enough to be joined by our close friends and family, a lot of our team, special guests Maggie Baugh, Brooke Eden, Abby Anderson, and Mark Wills. Even JennaLee, the star of our “Don’t Laugh At Me” music video, joined us on stage for a special moment during that performance. We really appreciate our friends who showed up and joined us backstage, including Duane Allen from the Oak Ridge Boys, Frankie Ballard, and so many of the writers of our songs including Chris Biano, Arlis Albritton, and more! Was such a fun time.
We’re off this week. It’s much needed downtime. We have a lot going on starting again soon:
- We’re releasing another music video to Patrons this week! It’s coming out next Friday. Join us on Patreon now to watch it early.
- We’re headed to Australia! We’re going to be at CMC Rocks next week. We’re even going to be shooting a music video down there.
